Superior Sunday at the Community Center

January 30 @ 11:00 am1:00 pm

Focusing on Recovery from the Marshall Fire

Please join us for a community gathering at our beautiful Superior Community Center.

This is intended to be an opportunity for residents to come together, connect with each other and regroup as we all move forward on this journey of recovery.

This event is organized by Superior Rising, a newly forming organization of residents and community leaders whose goal is to advocate, coordinate and fast-track the best possible recovery for everyone in Superior affected by the Marshall Fire. Go to www.superiorrising.org for more information and to sign up to get more directly involved in the effort.

We will keep the agenda light and focused on giving thanks to the First Responders who gave so much for us, sharing our collective experiences, understanding the work that will need to be organized, and leaning into what is next for us as a town.

We expect to have two food trucks there plus Serendipity Cafe for lunch.

We will open up the doors at the Community Center and do our best to provide appropriate spacing. Everyone is welcome. No RSVP required. There are also several areas of entertainment for kids of all ages throughout the community center.

Please note, we are expecting a sizable crowd and plan to have traffic support so please be mindful of those crossing streets and those out there supporting the flow of people and vehicles. There are many options for parking near the community center to include Community Park and the Safeway overflow area as well as community streets around the Superior Community Center.

We look forward to seeing everyone!
